This includes a responsibility for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. Job Description
- Contribute to identifying and build-up business competence and leadership according to global guidelines and based on business needs.
- Taking an active part in the development of the Business unit, the unit management team and leaders.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on people-related topics such as performance management, team development, and change management, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
- Collaborate in developing defined P&C capabilities through global projects, networks, and assignments, enhancing our organizational strengths.
- At any time, act as an ambassador of IKEA culture and values.
- Constantly secure an outside-in perspective in the field of People & Culture (talent, employment branding, compensation & benefits).
- Contribute to identify and build-up business competence and leadership according to global guidelines and based on business needs.
- Taking an active part in the development of the Business unit, the unit management team and leaders.
- Bridge to other People & Culture leaders and business teams with IKEA Components, and be active part of P&C Matrix.
- Facilitate succession and contribute to development opportunities for co-workers, by an efficient competence flow within the business unit, between units on site as well as in total IKEA.
- Lead the work of implementing global People Plan and relevant P&D Business plan.
- Together with the management team is responsible to make IKEA Components a diverse and inclusive workplace, ensuring we maintain a workplace for everyone.
- Responsible to drive an agenda of creating fair compensation and benefits.
- Drive efficient and effective implementation of overall P&C processes and yearly activities.
- Safeguard people principles are followed and implemented (e.g. title management, organizational design).
- Ensure that laws and regulations related to employment and working environment are followed.
- Secure the cost budget for the area of responsibility.
- Member of local MGMT and local CMT.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in People and Culture leadership roles
- Understanding of IKEA Brand and IKEA Business model
- Ambassador for IKEA Culture and values with value-based decision making
- Business partnering skills and strong relationship builder
- Knowledge and understanding on People principles, processes, tools and practices
- Knowledge of local labor law and regulations
- Is passionate about people and has a strong belief in individuals’ potential
- Inspired by leading business through people and reaching results through engaging and motivating people
- Ability to coach, facilitate and transfer knowledge
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
