IKEA Components holds a unique position within the IKEA value chain. We develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products – and better homes. This includes a responsibility for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. Another part of our business is retail equipment range, which is an important part of IKEA identity. It supports presenting, selling and handling of the IKEA product range, strengthens the IKEA Brand and helps visitors enjoy the full IKEA experience. Our business is global and based in locations all over the world.  

• Contribute to identifying and build-up business competence and leadership according to global guidelines and based on business needs.
• Taking an active part in the development of the Business unit, the unit management team and leaders.
• Provide coaching and support to managers on people-related topics such as performance management, team development, and change management, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
• Collaborate in developing defined P&C capabilities through global projects, networks, and assignments, enhancing our organizational strengths.
• At any time, act as an ambassador of IKEA culture and values.
• Constantly secure an outside-in perspective in the field of People & Culture (talent, employment branding, compensation & benefits).
• Contribute to identify and build-up business competence and leadership according to global guidelines and based on business needs.
• Taking an active part in the development of the Business unit, the unit management team and leaders.
• Bridge to other People & Culture leaders and business teams with IKEA Components, and be active part of P&C Matrix.
• Facilitate succession and contribute to development opportunities for co-workers, by an efficient competence flow within the business unit, between units on site as well as in total IKEA.
• Lead the work of implementing global People Plan and relevant P&D Business plan.
• Together with the management team is responsible to make IKEA Components a diverse and inclusive workplace, ensuring we maintain a workplace for everyone.
• Responsible to drive an agenda of creating fair compensation and benefits.
• Drive efficient and effective implementation of overall P&C processes and yearly activities.
• Safeguard people principles are followed and implemented (e.g. title management, organizational design).
• Ensure that laws and regulations related to employment and working environment are followed.
• Secure the cost budget for the area of responsibility.
• Member of local MGMT and local CMT.

• Proven experience in People and Culture leadership roles
• Understanding of IKEA Brand and IKEA Business model
• Ambassador for IKEA Culture and values with value-based decision making
• Business partnering skills and strong relationship builder 
• Knowledge and understanding on People principles, processes, tools and practices 
• Knowledge of local labor law and regulations
• Is passionate about people and has a strong belief in individuals’ potential
• Inspired by leading business through people and reaching results through engaging and motivating people
• Ability to coach, facilitate and transfer knowledge
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
