Job Description
Inter IKEA Group is organized in three core businesses - Range, Supply and Retail Concept - and five enabling functions. Together we contribute to the success of IKEA and share responsibility for the franchise offer.
The enabling functions lead key common activities in networks across Inter IKEA Group, as well as cover specific needs for the core businesses. The five Enabling functions are Operations Management, Business Performance & Support, Communication, Sustainability and People & Culture.
About the job
We’re seeking an experienced UX leader to strengthen our efforts in identifying and driving initiatives on usability and usefulness across the board variety of solutions in our data driven digital landscape, bought and built. Working across the value chain to ensure that solutions are easy-to-use, impactful, intuitive, reflect IKEA Brand and amplify IKEA tone-of-voice.
A big part of this UX leader job will be to also lead, drive and coordinate collaborations and initiatives between Designers and Business analysts within the Experience Design Competence Hub, together with the Experience Design Manager in Enabling Functions.

To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:
good English language skills, with the ability to cater to non-native audiences
a strategic mind that allows you to break down complex information, organise it, and present it in a clear and engaging way
you’re a storyteller that use visual, written and verbal tools for communication
have experience designing within, or for, SaaS products and platforms
you speak “data and business” and know how to lead work with User Outcomes, OKRs and the metrics and tools related to this
expert level knowledge of the toolkit and processes relevant for UX, UI
a solid portfolio that demonstrates your ability to design, communicate and lead cross functional teams as well as across a broad variety of problem spaces.
a proven track record of designing and leading teams delivering experiences for launched digital products
minimum 10 years of designing of which at least 5 years of leading teams, for digital products that are easy to use
the ability to build trusting relationships and long-term partnerships with co-workers and stakeholders at all levels
Interaction Design or other relevant higher-level education
Additional Information
This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Malmö or Delft. This role sits in the Data & Product Capability area in operations management (enabling functions) and reports to The Experience Design Manager.
