Supply Area Finance, Performance & Operations (FP&O) is a company enabling function focusing on company enabling tasks connected to our legal units with focus on the Financial, Legal & Governance, as well as Risk and Compliance side of operating our PLSO legal units/companies around the world. Since the current Manager will take her next step, we are looking for her successor!
Job Description
As a Finance Performance & Operations Manager you will lead the Finance Performance & Operations agenda for Supply Area North. You will be responsible to ensure company operations in the areas finance, legal & governance, as well as risk & compliance for the Supply Area North 3 legal units in in Sweden, Germany and Lithuania. You will work closely with and provide support to company management including financial performance analysis and insights and recommendations on actions to take to meet financial and other goals. With high energy and drive, you will lead the function and secure the execution of global frameworks and work on local and global level with projects, initiatives and developing the IKEA co-workers within the teams.
What about the team? You will lead a team with co-workers located in Sweden, Germany and Lithuania. You will be a member of the Supply Area North management team, a member of the Legal Unit management team for IKEA Supply Services (Sweden) AB and be part of the Global Finance Performance & Operations Matrix which means working in a dynamic global environment. In this assignment, you will play a key role in leading and developing competence, grounded in our IKEA culture & values, where you will motivate, inspire and develop your co-workers. You will collaborate with many stakeholders across the IKEA value-chain and by this, build strong relationships and find better ways forward – together.
Areas of responsibility also include:
- Statutory and regulatory reporting, compliance to laws as IIG standards
- Operational cost and resource planning, reporting and be a speaking partner for all business units.
- Secure execution of Risk & Compliance activities on Company and Area level.
- Lead and facilitate the Supply Area business planning process for Supply Area North and follow up on KPIs and performance.
- Secure execution in Workplace Operations related assignments.
- Lead & develope people within both Finance Performance & Operations and Workplace Operations and secure succession planning.
- Continuously work with improvements and actively participate in Finance Performance & Operations Matrix.
This position will report to Supply Area Manager for Supply Area North.
We are looking for you who leads through our IKEA Culture and Values and who are passionate about leading and developing both people and business. We see that you are an engaged leader who leads trough clear communication and who creates an environment of trust. You preferably have a broad understanding of Inter IKEA strategic landscape and Inter IKEA Purchasing Year cycle and Governance Structure. We see that you have an extensive knowledge of financial processes and general accounting procedures, as well as Inter IKEA Financial Manual and regulations. You have good communication skills and have the ability to inspire and clarify for the many. We see that you have strong organizing skills, the capability to ability to have a holistic view and at the same time pay attention to details. As a person you quickly adapt to changes in business needs and have the ability to work towards clearly defined goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience in finance-related field (preferred 5+ years).
- Have a university Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and/or relevant experience.
- Strong leadership, managerial, tactical and operational skills.
- Strong accounting, reporting, tax and treasury knowledge and understanding of companies' operations.
- Is fluent in English, both verbally and written
