Digital Arena’s mission at IKEA Industry is to support and improve the business by providing a robust and efficient information supply to the organization. We operate strategically, tactically and operationally with all aspects of the IT/OT strategies and solution roadmaps; from demand capture to realization, implementation and operational support in a global manufacturing environment.

In this position it will be your responsibility to secure that our Data & Analytics solutions fulfil the needs across the organization; now and in the future. You will work in close cooperation with our process development teams, site representatives and Solution Owners to develop, implement and support solutions based on our standard platforms.

As a Solution Owner you will lead and secure optimal utilization of the solution, support the development of business needs and run of the solution. You will lead and coordinate the development and operation of your solutions to ensure efficiency and quality in our ways of working combined with cost efficiency, required availability and always with a desire to deliver business movements and value.

Exciting challenge for You who wants to...

Act as a Solution Owner for Data & Analytics software solutions. Integrated with our enterprise and manufacturing solutions, we have solutions within data extraction, processing, storage and final dashboards, reports and visualizations in various BI applications.

  • Provide strategic direction, roadmap and standards within the Data & Analytics area together with business strategies and IT/OT architecture
  • Manage key stakeholder expectations through strong relationships both within IKEA and with external service partners and suppliers
  • Collaborate with process and business functions, architects, super users, software suppliers, service operations, information security and other relevant functions
  • Manage solution/service cost and budget including coordinate license, maintenance, support and service contract
  • Stay updated on new solutions and technologies, be innovative and bring future ideas to our business

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for a technical and people centric leader with focus on creating tangible value from data, analytics and data-driven decision making. This includes building digital products based on Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics, as well as driving enabling processes such as Data Governance and Data Literacy. As a person you are passionate about leading business areas, influencing stakeholders, coaching, developing, and building a team. It is likely that you are currently working as a technical lead or having people responsibility in the Data & Analytics space. You are motivated to stay up to date on the latest developments, tools and technologies of the rapidly changing data and analytics landscape. You are a strong relationship builder, with the ability to create trust and successful collaboration in a multicultural environment.

  • Have senior knowledge in applications of Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics in addressing and solving business problems
  • Have senior knowledge in analytical reporting, data engineering, insights generation, machine learning and a broad understanding of the developments in the fast-moving data technology landscape
  • Have senior knowledge in programming languages, modern platforms, and systems for handling small and large datasets
  • Have good knowledge in data models and common issues related to data quality, and how to improve them
  • Have good knowledge in data-driven digital product development, including data processing, analysis, and knowledge extraction, with agile processes, continuous improvement, and deployment at scale


Your qualifications and past experiences are…

  • Demonstrable senior experience in Qlik products and development
  • Diverse hands-on experience in professional data and analytics work
  • Leading and developing a team
  • Formal advanced education in engineering, computer science, econometrics, mathematics, operations research or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience in working in an Agile or DevOps environment is a plus
  • Experience of driving change in an organization is a plus
  • Experience of working with advanced analytics on manufacturing/supply chain or related topics is a plus

This role is located in our office Klipphult, at Hyllie in Malmö, Sweden. Klipphult is a place to work, meet, act, grow and create together. It is an activity-based, flexible and inspiring workplace.

The position requires global travelling.
