Preferably, you bring at least 3 years of working as an HR Generalist/Advisor with experience in organisational changes.  We need you to be a hands-on self-starter and a fast learner. Good knowledge of Dutch labour law is a must.

About the role 
As an HR Generalist at Inter IKEA we expect you to be able to quickly switch between strategical, tactical, and operational tasks. You, together with the People & Culture Leader and colleagues within HR Operations, support your business area(s) in all HR related matters through the full employee journey. 

You also enjoy and feel comfortable working and acting independently and aligned with agreed processes. Being an HR Generalist can be challenging and at the same time you will learn a lot, get great responsibilities and freedom to fill it, all in accordance with our IKEA values. 

Your main responsibilities: 

  • Lead and contribute to improving, implementing and applying the HR processes and procedures, in order to provide the right support to co-workers, managers and other stakeholders. 
  • Proactively provide HR subject matter expertise and support in areas such as re-integration, working conditions and legal matters 
  • Support in all HR processes within your leadership area together with the relevant People & Culture Leaders and managers. 
  • Support and coach in change management projects and assignments together with People & Culture Leaders, other business leaders and support functions. 
  • Together with the People & Culture Leader you actively work on developing the HR agenda in your area through presentations, workshops, and meetings with all managers and/or co-workers. 
  • Secure that any internal communication and information around local HR matters in your area of expertise is accessible, accurate and creates the right expectations. 
  • Together with People & Culture Leaders and managers in your leadership area you secure and provide the business with talents through a solid recruitment process, throughout the whole journey, always in line with our IKEA values. 
  • Lead and support our recruiting managers in the onboarding process when welcoming new colleagues to CBF. 

Additional information 
The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and located in Delft. You will report to the HR Operations Site Manager located in Delft.  

The position will be temporary (1 year) with a possibility to be prolonged into a permanent position.
