In this role you will lead, together with our tech delivery team and the technology area, the design of our Create & Produce Digital Landscape. You will translate the business requirements to define modern, scalable, and high-performing technical solutions, drive the implementation of systems in the development life cycle and provide technical recommendations for our production systems and infrastructure.  

You will be part of the Tech Delivery team within IMC Digital and you will report to the Digital Engineering Manager. 

What you will do: 

• Describe the current and future state of the IT landscape for the intended business change as well as the transition to reach the future state aligned with architectural principles and guidelines. 

• Working with fellow architects to agree on common principles of architecture and shaping it up for the bigger organization 

• Researching, designing, and implementing new software functionality, reviewing, and validating solutions based on existing and upcoming technologies. 

• Ensure that agreed IT landscape architectures and transition roadmaps guide the scoping of business initiatives as well as the detailed design and delivery of solutions. 

• Participate and define needs from the architecture perspective in the creation of solution documentation in co-operation with process/business teams and IT vendors,  

• Being the point of contact across product teams for topics like Single sign on, Integration designs, log management, documenting architecture using UML/Metamodeling/standards 

Qualifications,
what you will need: 

We search for someone who is curious, structured, challenging, and fearless. You have a strong software development background and interest or experience from solution architecture.  

You are interested in business and like to see how digital can enable people to achieve business results, working with stakeholders and their requirements, you are comfortable explaining technical information to people in a simple, easy-to understand way. 

You can see the big picture as well as the details and to structure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of them. For you, quality is important. 

You have strong social and communication skills and are enthusiastic, driven, and structured. You are fluent in both spoken and written English and have the desire to work in a simple and effective way. 

You will need: 

• Working knowledge of Integration patterns to help design data flow across products 

• Metamodeling experience to build architecture and document it (UML/Metamodeling). 

• Experience with Single sign on, log management. 

• Azure Cloud knowledge or similar (GCP/AWS). Preferably Azure. 

• To accommodate changing preconditions with the focus on delivery for a solution.
