IKEA Hotell aims to attract visitors to Älmhult by offering an IKEA meeting place, with a great food and sleep experience, both for co-workers and external guests.

Our team in the Hotel consists of about 50 co-workers with different experiences and backgrounds who together meet our guests with a service-minded approach and great commitment, and now we want to strengthen our Kitchen team.

So we are looking for you who want to work as an extra resource during lunches, evenings and weekends at IKEA Hotell. As an extra resource you will play an important role in our upcoming events and catering of food and beverages. At IKEA Hotell our guests will also meet you in the reception when checking in or out, preparing and serving breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as enable a great experience connected to conferences or meetings at the hotel.

We are looking for you who love to meet our guests in a service-minded way! You are curious to start working in an 24 hour open service hotel. When the hotel and restaurant are full of guests, they should be met by co-workers who love the extra pulse and the higher pace that comes with the job. You take own initiatives to get things done, and curious to find new better ways of doing things. You have the ability to solve problems that arise on a daily basis. 
You like working together with your colleagues, you are a great team-member and have a passion for food and guest experiences. It is a plus if you have experience in the restaurant and/or service industry.

We expect you to speak both Swedish and English fluently, and it is a plus if you master some additional language. You are also comfortable working with computers. You must be over 18 years old. Of course you share our passion for IKEA's history, culture and values!

What we are looking for now is extra hotel co-workers, so called on demand. This means we will contact you when IKEA Hotell have a need for you to work on a short time notice in Älmhult. Of course we agree on if you have the possibility to work the suggested hours or not.
