Qualifications

        About You:

  • university graduate or student (preferable Technical University with chemical faculty),
  • good knowledge of organic, inorganic chemistry
  • well organized and patient in the details
  • systematic approach towards solving problems
  • able to keep good balance between overall view and details,
  • good communication skills and being open for different cultures
  • willpower person for continues development and improvements,
  • fluent English (written, spoken),
  • driving license cat. B.

About the assignment

This 12 months long assignment will be split into 3 main phases:

1.      You will support your team for aligning global requirements for consumable toys articles (E.g. paints, chalks, pens) basing on IKEA specifications and global regulations. Based on this You will evaluate and potentially rework ways of working with documentation flow and registration in IKEA internal systems.

2.      You will help with documentation audits for different articles produced by different factories. You will be responsible for sharing the learnings and supporting to integrate them into standard ways of working.

3.      You will help to organize trainings for IKEA engineers and IKEA suppliers representatives. 

The final assignment success will be increase of chemical compliance for toys articles, that is measured using internal IKEA Key Performance Indicator. It is described by share of properly registered documents per single article check.
