Job Description

Now we are looking for a Business Navigation Manager 

As Business Navigation Manager you will play a vital role in steering the business towards growth and goal achievements. You lead and develop the business navigation team, and work closely with the category managers and the category area management to spot business opportunities as well as business risks.

You are part of the Category Area management team and the Business Navigation matrix in Purchasing Development. You report to the Category Area Manager in Textile Furnishings. 
 
In your role you will: 

  • Set and lead the performance agenda by providing analysis, reports, tools, and relevant business insights.  
  • Set relevant performance criteria and provide navigation directions to achieve and follow up results and goals 
  • Ensure that the budget and forecasts are accurate and reliable delivering to agreed business objectives 
  • Lead and develop the Business Navigation team

For you to be successful in the job as Business Navigation Manager, we think it is important that you are result driven, enjoy working in a fast-paced and complex environment. You have a solid business understanding either from purchasing or retailing or similar.

Furthermore, we want you to have an experience from leading complex projects/tasks cross different units and;

  • You are curious, open-minded, and build relations based on trust, collaboration, and support.
  • You lead from IKEA culture & values, and you have a proven track record as a manager bringing out the best in people and business.
  • You are a good communicator who can simplify complex matters and inspire others to see opportunities.  
  • You can express yourself both written and verbally in English.
