As Range administrator you will contribute to an important pre-requisite to enable the journey, the completeness and correctness of the information around our products and range.
As Range administrator you will be part of the Range Administration team that today consists of 10 highly motivated and self-managing colleagues. However, your network will be throughout the whole value chain as this is where the Product Information is consumed.
The position will be based in Malmö until August 2023 then in Älmhult. At the heart of IKEA in Älmhult we will create the IKEA Food Hub where we will come together across IKEA to deliver on more healthy, sustainable & delicious food.
Job Description
As Range Administrator at Business Area (BA) Food you will structure and standardize product range information through the IKEA value chain, on an operational and tactical level, to enable high quality range decisions and support growth, according to year cycle and business rules. With your knowledge you will be a crucial stakeholder in the different development activities as we are on a transition journey, and you will also have possibilities to take lead in activities.
As Range Administrator your main responsibilities are:
- Populate the product information system with relevant and accurate information connected to the products in the assigned area of responsibility and throughout the product life cycle (e.g., Range classification, Range Changes, etc.) according to the described processes and the information decided/received from related functions
- Secure that business rules are followed in relation to range change execution in the assigned area of responsibility
- Secure the availability of overall complete and accurate product information in the assigned area of responsibility according to the agreed deadlines
- To do ad-hoc data quality analysis to improve data quality as well as adapt to new updated business rules
- Contribute to the development of processes, ways of working, business rules and connected but also to share best practice
- Ensure a strong performance culture where deviations are detected early and acted upon
Qualifications
To be successful in this job you need to have a strong drive to structure and administrate information and the will to ensure that business rules are followed. You are goal and delivery oriented, yet pragmatic, with a passion for details and excellence in operation in connection to a big portion of curiosity. This you use to understand the complex context and can ensure structure, priority, and accuracy.
You need to enjoy creating and working in a global network where you use your communication skills to support others, to find ways to improve efficiency and being the “spider in the web” when it comes to the quality of the product and range information.
You have good understanding of IKEA in general and it is an advantage to have knowledge about BA Food and supply chain.
You need to enjoy working in a fast-changing environment where not all is clear, but you can contribute to clarity and live the IKEA values.
You are fluent in both spoken and written English.
It is beneficial if you have a higher education.
