Job Description

As Food Digital Manager you will lead the Food Digital organisation on a digital transformation journey aiming to create the enablers that take food into the next generation operating model, integrating capabilities in the total IKEA digital landscape.

One of your primary responsibilities is to lead and develop a management team of high performing leaders who inspire and empower co-workers to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments.

You are responsible for the overall department roadmap, goal setting, budget, and results and will also represent the organisation in strategic forums addressing the IKEA Food Business.

You will work closely together with peers across the totality of IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer and with franchisees in the markets.

Qualifications

About you

We are looking for an experienced senior leader who is passionate about developing people and business in an omnichannel environment. Ideally, you have  5+ years of experience from senior leadership positions in a digital environment with a good understanding of digital development and operations.

We believe that you are  someone who can build trustful relationships with stakeholders, business partners and franchisees and facilitates collaboration across Inter IKEA Group, holding things together even when they get complex or unclear.  You enjoy working in a high paced environment and you have a proven ability to lead, coach, challenge and support people to grow.

You lead people with IKEA values and you bring an in-depth understanding and recent experience of the IKEA business throughout the value chain. You are structured and you always follow through. You take responsibility, support others and deliver your work with a sense of urgency.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are some of the qualities you bring with you and working with many different people together across the world gives you a lot of energy.

Your curious and positive nature helps you to actively acquire new knowledge and skills, using them to champion new methods and processes to improve how things are done and delivered. And you are passionate about enabling ‘a better everyday life’ through technology, digital innovation and people.

Additional Information

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden. There may be some international travel required for this role. You will report to the Customer Engagement, Food and Services Manager, with Retail Experience.
