We are now establishing a new IKEA Shared Data & Technology organization as part of developing our digital capabilities. This organization will be built up together with existing co-workers, recruitments and establishing and developing partnerships over the coming years. Our data & technology capabilities that are common across Inter IKEA group will be kept together and organized in the IKEA Shared data & technology organization. The organization will be based mainly in southern part of Sweden and in Delft, Netherlands.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and specify the architecture blueprint for the Data & Analytics Platform
  • Create & maintain Architecture artefacts (Architecture definition document, High level designs, physical components and cloud architecture)
  • Contribute to architectural efficiency and synergies across products and publisher by identifying and managing inclusion of reusable assets .
  • Ensure reusability & scalability of D&A platform
  • Make sure that the overall technology roadmaps are being considered in relevant decisions
  • Document changes to secure current and future architectural state in the Data & Analytics platform
  • Ensure consistency with relevant digital frameworks, principles, guidelines and standards
  • Continuously maintain and looking for opportunities to improve the Data & Analytics platform based on feedback and close collaboration with stakeholders and product teams across the IKEA value chain
  • Work closely together with partners, peers and other relevant roles like architects, product owners, data engineers, or data scientists across IKEA as well as in your team.
  • Contribute to securing the technical roadmap for Data & Analytics platform where needed
  • Facilitate and contribute to the Data & Analytics Technical advisory board
  • Collaborate with product teams and data publishers that technical and non-technical components work together and create a holistic whole.
  • Collaborate with product teams and data publishers on the digital development and operations side.

Qualifications

We believe that you, as our new colleague, have the following knowledge and experience:

  • Bachelor/Master degree or similar in engineering, informatics or equivalent combination of relevant training and work experience.
  • Strong digital architecture experience (Business-, IT- and Solution architecture)
  • Experience as a project member in agile project environments and methodologies as well in running business activities
  • Good knowledge of architecture frameworks and aspects as well as architecture methods and tools (TOGAF, ArchiMate)
  • Good understanding in common platforms and practices regarding digital development; Cloud based setups, Advanced Analytics and computing environments and GitHub (or similar) and CI/CD workflows
  • Experience developing and deploying ETL solutions on Azure
  • Experience of Lambda & Kappa architectures and understanding of Data mesh
