Curious to work with business-oriented communication? We are looking for a new Communication leader who is motivated to work with development of people and business. This role calls for efficient and business-oriented communication as the area of focus will be the IKEA Components purchase and supply. Joining IKEA Components you get the opportunity to experience and understand the a value chain, interact with our partners, and contribute directly to the IKEA end customer.

As Communication Leader you create and lead communication to have an impact on co-workers, partners, and the business development that we work for together. You are open minded and including, with the ambition to cooperate across functionally within IKEA Components but also within IKEA Supply. You strive to be a role model of the IKEA values, and with those as your starting point you dare to challenge and move things forward. When you face a critical situation, you step up and take the lead and always consider the wider context. You have a high level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

As a Communication Leader you: 

  • Constantly involve yourself in the current business needs.
  • Lead, structure, and execute internal and external communication.
  • Coach and mentor leaders in communication matters.
  • Create clear and actionable communication plans and communication briefs with stakeholders to deliver business impact. 
  • Is part of a management team and execute a planned communication together.
  • Contribute and deliver to cross-functional assignments in the communication matrix/common action plan. 
  • Developing our channel landscape.
  • Contribute to the common communication development across the IKEA network

Qualifications

What you preferably have to be successful in this role:

To be happy and successful in this role you have strong communication skills, and knowledge and understanding of working with business and communication planning and execution. You understand how communication supports and increases the impact of a business agenda, always keeping co- workers and partners informed, engaged, and empowered. 

You have knowledge of how to segment audiences and strengthen key messages to support different audiences needs and situations as well as knowledge of co-worker communication and change management. You are self-going and get motivation from seeing and understanding big picture as well from working with the details. 

You are fluent in English and have strong in skills such as planning and writing key content.
