About the job 

Our mission in Supply Chain Operations (SCO) is to supply IKEA products to our customers in simple, affordable, sustainable, and excellent way. Whenever our products don’t reach our customers in an excellent way, we, Quality in Supply Chain Operations, take the lead to investigate deviations, connect relevant stakeholders, and mediate the discussions to decide what do we do with the goods in stock, manage the financial implications, and enable to convey learnings into improvements. 

As Business Analyst you will support better-informed business decisions in quality deviation management by gathering data from various sources, reviewing, interpreting, analyzing, and offering meaningful information and insights with the final aim to reduce quality deviations in our supply chain and ensure high customer experienced quality.   

In this role you will also be responsible to: 

- Identify relevant data sources, collect data, and verify its accuracy, source missing information and organize data in usable formats to support analysis and fact-based decision making in the management of Quality Deviations. 

- Analyze, define, and address big impact issues, inter-dependencies, synergies, trends, and directions  

- Contribute to setting goals, identify priorities and improvement potentials through analytics 

- Work closely to Business Navigation to identify, set, and support calculation of relevant KPIs for the team 

- Support and guide the teams in addressing business issues or opportunities through data-analysis 

- Develop and secure needed reports are in place and address proactively future data needs   

- Support competence development in the team for data analysis 

- Lead or contribute to projects or global assignments  

Qualifications

About you 

We are looking for you, the skilled data analyst, able to extract relevant trends, patterns, and insights from data and to connect it to strategies and goals of the business.  You have experience in supporting business teams with data, analysis and KPIs in an environment with high stakeholder management, preferably within a global organization. You communicate with ease and can tell the stories you extract from data in an insightful and inspiring way.  

This position reports to Quality Deviation Operations Manager, is full time and is based in our office in Dortmund
