Solution Owner – Design & Process Team within IT tools, Range & Product Development

We are now looking for a Solution Owner to the Design & Process team within IT Tools, Range & Product Development.

IT Tools assignment is to lead the development and implementation of relevant and user-friendly processes and tools in connection to Range and Product development as well as create the optimal conditions for Sales.

We also define and capture digital capabilities into relevant tools that will make sales, range and product development better and faster.

We ensure that digital capabilities leads the way with an opportunity driven mindset.

Job Description

We are in the start up phase designing new capabilities for digital Range development as well as digital Sustainability support and as Solution owner you will be leading the work creating the new digital tools.

You will be a part of an exciting development agenda for the area, where we are continuously making sure that we have great digital solutions connected to our Range & Product Development processes.

You will be part of the Design & Process team within Processes & IT Tools, which today consists of 4 co-workers.

As a Solution Owner you ensure that IKEA has user focused and reliable digital solutions that helps IKEA to maximize the business value.

As Solution Owner you will:

• shape ideas into concrete digital solution features and deliver new business potentials. 
• gather insights to understand and empathize with the user’s reality. Elicit, document, and analyze business needs and stakeholder inputs.
• lead the planning of the digital solution´s releases, communication, learning and set expectation for delivery of new features and functionalities
• be responsible for prioritizing the digital solution roadmap and giving input to the overall digital roadmap
• be responsible for securing that the digital solution maximises the business value, controlling the costs and giving input to the overall budget
• be responsible for the digital solution life cycle including information management.

• Strong ability in creating trustful relationships in collaborative processes as well as visualizing concept and ideas.
• The ability to lead others and to influence the surroundings
• The ability to organize and plan the agenda
• Strong ability to deliver with speed and an agile way of working in development
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing and can describe complex things in a simple and comprehensive way
• Good understanding and knowledge of IKEA way of working with Range and Product development
• Good understanding of the user’s reality
• Good knowledge of current and latest technology trends that creates better solutions and bring business and user value.
• Experience of agile methodologies and digital software development
