I´m looking for a Finance controller who will work closely together with colleagues across the IKEA network! You will be a crucial part of the finance team working as controller/business partner and I am looking for you who have a big interest in data/analysis and who likes to outline problems and find solutions.

The Finance & Administration department at IKEA of Sweden has the important role of making sure we are a cost-conscious company; setting the budget frames, taking part in deciding on resource allocation and leading the budget work, cost follow up, forecasting and financial controlling/projects

Finance & Administration belongs to Steering & Support in IKEA of Sweden AB that hosts several enabling functions such as Finance & Administration, Business Steering, Product Risk & Compliance and Legal. Steering & Support provides insights to different parts of the range organization making the right business decisions and by the services provided connected to our workplace gives us the right preconditions to thrive and deliver at work.

You will in your role work closely with our Finance team but also as a finance business partner towards our stakeholders within the organization. You will set up and maintain the financial structures to follow up cost and financial performance and in that way support decision making. You will support the business with cost follow ups/controlling, forecasting, and budgeting. You will be the analyzer, translator and presenter of financial insights and highlight deviations to plans.

Being a Controller in the team means you will ensure the financial processes such as closings, financial performance tracking, financial planning & reporting and financial controls. 

You will also contribute to different ad hoc projects with your data analyzing skills, being the one that pull data, analyze, report data trends, and share information with others. You can handle big data and connect data in business applications such as Power BI. 

You have proven experience and knowledge in: 

•    Controlling and accounting (minimum 3 years' experience)
•    Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience
•    Basic knowledge in Data visualization, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills  
•    Establishing and maintaining good relations and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders 
•    Knowledge of, and interest in, financial planning and reporting systems and Business information tools like Excel, Power-BI, SAP Analytics or equivalent

We also wish you to be a goal-oriented team player with great knowledge within finance / controlling and who likes problem solving. You can implement, deliver results, and follow up. Leadership capabilities and the ability to create clarity, and strong analytics skills is a must together with a holistic view but also an eye and interest for getting the details right. Through your good communication skills, you build strong partnerships with stakeholders, at all levels of the organization.  

As a person you are humble, structured, have the curiosity and ability to question and challenge always with cost efficiency in mind. You share the IKEA values and strive to have them as base in everything you do.
