Retail Operation Solutions & Support is an integral part of Core Business Franchise and consists of a team of people with a passion for retail and competence in business and technology. We offer IKEA retailers a set of digital products and services that are integrated to IKEA value chain and support the omnichannel IKEA Concept. We call this the Retail Package and it covers key capabilities for retail operations.

Job Description

We are a team of specialists in retail logistics area who are highly talented and motivated to develop solutions for the retail package that are helping our retailers fulfill IKEA Vision which is to create a better everyday life for the many. On this very long journey, we are searching for a team member as a Business Analyst who is able to work on different processes of the retail logistics to support us to be able to meet the future demands of the customers and the retailers

As Business Analyst you will;

  • Contribute to analysing business needs and identify product requirements including application, data, integration and processes.
  • Support Product Owner to engage with stakeholders and support the identification of improvement needs.
  • Contribute to test and follow up implementation according to agreed business requirements.
  • Responsible to document and contribute to keep track of business needs/requirements for the product.
  • Support in the development of learning and communication content.
  • Support with definition and validation of high level & low-level designs in cooperation with relevant roles.
  • Validate compliance of business requirements in quality assurance and contributes to business acceptance.
  • Contribute to measuring the requirements fit and the effect on the business goal.

 

    Qualifications

    • We believe you have relevant experience from the development of retail solutions in the areas of Retail Logistics and are familiar with the business processes within this function and how they can be enabled by technology.
    • Knowledge of digital technology, digital infrastructure, IT services and digital steering frameworks.
    • Good knowledge of business analysis methods and tools including requirement management and testing.
    • Experience from standard software which are part of the Retail Package MV Business Central, NAVISION and also common solutions across IKEA Supply Chain like DSP FF, OMS, ITM etc is an advantage.
    • You get motivated by being able to deep dive into complex scenarios and problems and finding solutions to them together with your colleague.
    • As a person you are structured, delivery-focused and a good team player. Of course, you have a passion for logistics, customers, retailing and are highly motivated to contribute to the growth of IKEA retailers.
    • Good communication and networking skills with the ability to co-operate and anchor with various stakeholders and explain complex matters in a way that is easy to understand.

    Additional Information

    • This is a full-time position (40h/ per week) located in Malmo, Sweden
    • This position will require both long-distance travel and business trips across Europe.
