The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products – and better homes. Our task is to take the responsibility for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. IKEA Components have also the assignment to provide After Sales service of components to the end customers. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based mainly in Sweden, Slovakia and China.

Job Description

PURPOSE OF FUNCTION
IKEA Components task within IKEA is to run the development of unique and customer friendly component solutions to the IKEA range.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Purpose of the job is to optimize, execute and monitor IKEA Components transport bookings in order to secure low costs and high availability.

ASSIGNMENTS

• To book, reschedule, monitor and cancel shipments
• To update transport system with relevant information including extra cost
• To maintain communication with both internal and external partners to high professional standards
• To optimize transport solutions
• To secure compliance of existing transport solutions with set standards

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE

• Relevant working experience within logistics, economics, business administration
• Good communication skills both oral and written
• Computer literate and proficiency in online applications
• Fluency in English and local language; other languages are an asset
