I’m working as a Business Navigation Manager in IKEA of Sweden, in the Business Area CEDO (Cooking, Eating, Decoration and Home Organization) and I am looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen our Team in Business Navigation.

Job Description
As a Business Analyst in the Business Navigation function, you support the navigation of the business by delivering relevant, accurate and fact-based business analytics according to the business needs, both year cycle based and ad hoc.
You are the business analytics expert responsible to monitor, analyze and follow up business performance within the assigned performance areas, and convert complex and large data sets into facts that are understandable, receiver friendly and actionable. You also contribute to the business development through analyzing future possible scenarios and assess the connected risks.
You support different roles in the department and contribute to creating the business understanding through being a performance culture ambassador.
You are the department super-user of business information tools and business analytics and contribute to developing them.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need to have experience from a similar data analyst role in a retail environment, with a commercial mindset and a degree in science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline. You are experienced from working in a global environment and understand the complexity that it might bring.
You have experience in performing analysis with large datasets and have a high interest in the visual design of data through reports or presentations and how to express the message in a clear and inspiring way. Technical competence to develop and run statistical & analytical models, and skills in statistical programming languages is an advantage - as well as knowledge in relational databases.
You are a communicative person that values building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and can explain complex topics in simple terms. We believe you have a sharp analytic & logical mindset and great problem-solving skills.

Additional Information
This is a permanent position located in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.
