IKEA Property AB is a fully staffed property management company within facility, construction and development and is the property specialist at Inter IKEA Group in Sweden. IKEA Property AB is owner, landlord and a support organisation in property-related assignments where Inter IKEA Group have their business in Sweden.

Job Description

To fulfill the business needs of all Inter IKEA Group companies in Sweden we are leading building projects from start to finish, optimise and develop our business locations. The Managing Director is the professional speaking partner with all decision makers and you will lead the dialogue with authorities, consultants, suppliers and contractors.

The Managing Director has the main responsibility to lead the management team and all aspects when it comes to operations, running and planned maintenance, projects and property development. This also includes a close dialogue with the board of IKEA Property AB. You prepare and follow up on the budget and investments, you have the awareness and understanding of legal frameworks and guidelines. Building organisational capabilities and strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The property organisation today consists of 25 people among specialists, project leaders and leaders within the area of facility and project development.

Qualifications

You will lead the management team and together with them you will have a unique opportunity to develop the overall assignment and business for IKEA Property AB and to deliver results. You are strategic, analytical and tactical, and have the perspective of both Business & People.

As a leader you have strong management and leadership skills. You are driven and have the ability to build trustful relationships at all levels, create an open and inclusive environment in your organisation. You have the ability to work and lead in change and you inspire and motivate your organisation in change processes. You communicate in a clear and inspiring way, and you lead by example in your everyday work.

You are eager to take initiative and driven to achieve results with people. You enjoy developing IKEA through innovation and by building relationships and networks.

We expect that you have at least five to ten years of experience of working with project management, investments and property development. You have an academic degree or equivalent working experience within the construction industry, property development or any other relevant real estate business.
