IKEA Supply is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.

Job Description

As a Business Analyst you will be an active business partner by supporting different business units within IKEA Supply. You will, together with the Data & Analytics team, set the process on how to make data product accessible for the many people. Supporting the business to convert complex and large data sets into to actionable insights.

More specifically, in this role you will be accountable for:  

  • Lead and work closely together with peers across the totality of Inter IKEA and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer. 
  • Contribute to the development of business analytical approaches and business information tools, actively engage in relevant matrix & networks
  • Simplify and automatize standard processes to enable our business partners and ourselves to be more efficient in analysis, conclusions and challenge & support
  • Act as an ambassador for a performance culture, works to enhance business understanding in the unit.
  • Drive continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing of methodologies, tools and materials across the IKEA Data and Analytics Community.

You have some years of working experience from data analysis, where you´ve derived conclusions and consequences out of information and have helped the organisation to make new insights and better decisions. Of course, your analytical skills are excellent and you are able to see the big picture as well as the details and can structure information in a good way.

  • Experience in business analysis, requirements engineering process and configuration management.
  • Ability to understand the end-user’s everyday life at work and good at reading between the lines, i.e. challenge and identify business needs and have the ability to see what’s hidden in the requirements.
  • How to present business information in a simple way 
  • Good understanding of project and software lifecycle management, and knowledge in modern development techniques such as SRUM and DevOps.
  • Good at facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities.
  • Willingness to always strive for improvement and to have great motivation to learn new things.
  • Good knowledge of IT and digital organizations, strategies and working methods
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics or corresponding knowledge
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
