Purpose of the job

·       The purpose of the job is to secure excellence in logistical operational performance, and its further development, in close cooperation and alignment with all relevant supply chain stakeholders;

·       Contributing to reaching customer perceived availability at the lowest total cost (considering impacts of quality, safety, service performance, sustainability and other supply chain costs)to define, develop, and support IKEA Transport processes to secure the stability and growth of IKEA

Assignment

Daily Tasks:

·       To plan delivery and execute transport bookings

·       To monitor the shipments from the start to the receiver

·       Reschedule and/or cancel shipments in case of logistical operational deviations

Optimal Solutions:

·       To select optimal transport solutions

·       To contribute in developing the transport set-ups

Routines & Working methods:

·       To ensure that the transport bookings are in accordance with IKEA’s routines and working methods

·       To optimize transport booking process & monitor the use of existing transport solutions

Communication & Working with others

·       To work in close cooperation with others in the Supply Chain to solve operational issues

Service follow-ups:

·       To correct wrong data updates in CNS and ITM

·       To ensure base data is complete and events & reason codes are updated

Quality & Claims:

·       To investigate claims with regard to extra costs & resolve claim issues

Job required knowledge, abilities and capabilities

·       High education/college degree in logistics, economics or relevant working experience

·       Job experience in logistics (transport is a plus)

·       Self-reliant, motivated and  with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

·       You are fluent in Russian and English skills (pre-intermediate level)

·       Careful with details, solution oriented, energetic

·       Communication skills
