We would say that there are some other things to do as well, but for you in this role EPLAN will be a key when you are being part of the creation of a supply chain system of tomorrow. As a Product Engineer Electrical at IKEA Intralogistics, you will develop and detail the design of in-house products to meet the requests of the service requestor. The IKEA product availability is supposed to be easy, efficient, and safe to reach at our warehouse  to give the customer a good experience in the end. It must be in a way that the construction, test, and quality is secured in a good way to make it happen. And this… is where you come in!

At IKEA Intralogistics we are now looking for a senior Product Engineer for the electrical part of our solution. A guru within electrical design, in short!

You will:

• Work with the design of the electrical system on machines
• Contribute with the technical perspective and knowledge, i.e. construction and design
• Review and verify the final drawings and other technical documents to secure correctness and accuracy in form, fit and function

You are going to be part of a team, working together in close cooperation with colleagues coming from other disciplines in the organisation. Now, that is what we call teamwork!

You see, taking the responsibility for the task to deliver a great technical solution, require someone who has been doing this for a while and are acquainted with building huge and complexed solution to the industry. You have previous experience, preferably from a senior level, from work as a Development Engineer with good knowledge in dimensioning, drawings, prototyping, production technologies and cost drivers of Electrical design. We are on a journey here, so you need to be open for being part of the building of how we should work together going forward, as well in finding new solutions to our customer. In other words, having a true entrepreneurial drive. You are experience user of the tool EPLAN and you have a deep interest in building supply chain and intralogistics solution. In a nutshell – having the passion and drive to develop the business and yourself to deliver excellent results.
