We are now looking for a Market Planner to join our IKEA Components Market Team in South East Asia.

Job Description

As a Market Planner you will plan and execute the market activities with concerned Home Furnishing Suppliers and IKEA Purchasing & Logistics to secure the development and performance according to agreed actions and goals

In this assignment you will:

  • collect and communicate business information into supply chain to secure availability at low cost for Home Furnishing Suppliers
  • Build close business partnership with Home Furnishing Suppliers/ IKEA Purchasing
  • plan and execute the Home Furnishing Suppliers need with internal stakeholders during the item life cycle from end to end process
  • be a part of business development activities with Home Furnishing Suppliers
  • Contribute into the offer process based on the collected Demands/Needs/Expectations from Home Furnishing Supplier

  • English fluency, both written and spoken
  • good at Chinese/Thai/Indonesian as an advance.

Additional Information

The position is placed in Ho Chi Minh office.  While you will mainly work with co-workers in our Ho Chi Minh City office, you will sometimes work in close cooperation with your peers at our offices in China (Shenzhen), Thailand, and Indonesia. You will report to the market manager in China (Shenzhen).
