About us

These are exciting times for IKEA. We are transforming into an omni-channel home furnishing retailer. To make this happen, we want to give all our co-workers the knowledge and skills to apply our unique concept in their daily work. We need an infrastructure which offers a great experience and supports life-long learning. We call it learning in the business. We believe that competent co-workers and a healthy IKEA culture bring better business.

To turn that ambition into reality, we bring competent people together in empowered product teams. One of these teams has the assignment to create the digital infrastructure that enable knowledge and learning content to be created, managed and published. We are looking for a solution owner to this team. Are you up for a challenge in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous reality?

About the role

The solution owner drives the delivery and improvement of our learning content creation and management systems. The learning content  and technical solutions are  part of a wider content  and learning offer. The content is created, translated, managed and published in a content -and-learning infrastructure for use in a wide variety of contexts in physical and digital spaces. In the learning solutions other information is used, for example product information, for which technical integrations are made and managed.

To meet future needs we are changing this infrastructure towards a ‘content as a service’ setup. The solution owner will have a leading role in this change, and has always the end user learning experience top of mind as well as the IKEA Brand. The solution owner has the lead in managing business expectations through close relationships with key business stakeholders and from that develops our product backlog for learning content management and guides its implementation for an effective experience end to end. The solution owner builds and maintains trustful relationships with stakeholders, business partners, franchisees and colleagues. The solution owner has communication skills like active listening and the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, inspiring way, with down to earth simple tone of voice.
