As Product Quality Navigator you will have the ability to contribute to growth by increasing quality of the range and the total quality perception. You will have the opportunity to translate complaints to “gold” and secure that the information can be used for improvement and contribute to happy customers in the end.
Job Description
As a Product Quality Navigator, you are process owner for our Quality and Safety alarm process. You are also supporting in creating goals and KPIs related to the operative quality of our products in the business area. You give input on areas of improvement into our development teams and the product development process by gathering data around incidents, accidents, and quality issues.
Furthermore, your main responsibilities will be:
- Handling safety and quality alarms.
- Facilitate product safety risk assessments to ensure the right level of quality for all products.
- Lead quality and safety deviations. Secure that actions to correct and prevent the deviations are taken in close cooperation with all stakeholders within IKEA.
- Analyze quality KPI’s and customer feedback in your development team and translate it into concrete projects/actions, focusing on improving quality and safety.
- Support the development team with the specialist competence to secure that process are followed and the usage of the quality tools.
Qualifications
You are a highly committed and self-driven person with a passion for product quality and safety. You are analytical and structured and able to both find patterns in data but also root causes. You are a problem solver, and you enjoy finding new improved ways of working, you love to use your creativity as well as working in an ever-changing environment.
With a strong business mind, you use your communications skills to build trustful relationships and cooperation to reach results. You are a team player, and you naturally share your knowledge with colleagues around you and learn from them.
Furthermore, we believe that you have a degree within engineering or comparable experience and preferably, you have been working with product quality, coordinating quality related information including different local quality regulations and used quality improvement tool (for example Six Sigma) in your daily work.
