This includes a responsibility for selected components and raw material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers.

IKEA Components also have the assignment to provide After Sales service of components to the end customers. Our business is global and today employs 1400 people based mainly in Sweden, Slovakia, and China. 

But that is not all, we are currently growing. By taking over the responsibility for IKEA retail equipment we are on a journey towards taking our assignment to the next step, creating a new IKEA business that is even more affordable, accessible, and sustainable. The retail equipment range is an important part of the IKEA identity. It supports presenting, selling, and handling of the IKEA product range, strengthens the IKEA Brand and helps visitors enjoy the full IKEA experience.

Job Description

Can you see yourself in a role where you are in the driving seat leading the implementation of new businesses and ranges? Are you passionate about business, the environment, and people? Then we are looking for you. 

You are natural in building and maintaining good relationships with people and you have strong leadership. You have a holistic approach and understands the needs of the markets, users, and business partners.

As a person you have a natural leadership, great communication skills, analytical capability and identify with and live by the IKEA values. You enjoy working in a modern, ambitious, and ever-changing environment together with colleagues across the world. 

Furthermore;
•    You are strong in leading, connecting, communicating, building trust, network, listening, analyzing, and influencing and you have project management skills.
•    You have experience in business development and/or communications, and have the ability and like to work both strategically, tactical, and operational 
•    You have a university degree in Communication, Business Administration or Economics, or a solid corresponding background in communications and/or retail.

Qualifications

As a Commercial Leader you will capture commercial needs from business partners and markets. You will lead, coordinate, and drive efficient implementation of key commercial rollouts and business initiatives throughout. 

You will contribute to the business plans, develop, and execute commercial strategies, based on the business plans as well as on sound knowledge of user and market needs and in close cooperation with relevant business partners. You will develop and lead the commercial agenda and commercial planning as well as sales planning and sales follow up.
