Right now, I´m looking for a Market Specific Leader who would like to achieve the wished position for Market Specific Range – Making IKEA truly market relevant supporting the core range and by that generate extraordinary growth and a great customer experience. By listening and understanding the need of the consumer on each market. Together with the retailer and the Range & Product team develop complementary and competitive market relevant range for each market.

Job Description
As a Market Specific Leader in our amazing team, you use requests and inputs from our coworkers, material and category areas and market trends to support the retailer in co-creating and securing a locally relevant offer and contributing with proven business possibilities to the global IKEA business.
You are responsible for leading, growing and optimizing the market specific potential in the HFB dimension and thereby contribute to create extraordinary growth and speed to market. You identify new potential business opportunities by working in close collaboration with the countries, market clusters and Range & Product teams. Opportunities that not only will create market specific growth but also will challenge and optimize the total development plan for the HFB portfolio.
You create alignment with Range & Product teams in the HFBs in order to ensure that the Market Specific Range will deliver complementary range and extra growth in relation to running range, and not act as competition.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for lead the interaction around new product request in close co-operation with relevant stakeholders across the value chain, delivering simplicity and speed to market. Lead the co-creation of Market Relevant range together with markets by using requests/inputs from Retail, HFB, Development Centers and Category/Material organizations to define the business potentials and lead the work to ensure that product related market gaps and opportunities are integrated into the planning of the HFB range offer portfolio.
With entrepreneurial spirit and strong knowledge about the complete value chain constantly search for new business opportunities and to share, challenge and motivate the Range & Product Team.
Qualifications

You are quick to make decisions and have a great ability to create action and making things move through others by inspiring and influencing others – a true entrepreneur!

With a never-ending curiosity you always try to find new ways of creating business and sales results with courage, speed and agility. Networking, influencing and communicating comes natural to you, and you have a track record of creating engagement with many different types of people, on all levels and throughout our network.
Furthermore, we believe you have high understanding of the IKEA business model, IKEA ways of working, business plan process and strategic landscape and high knowledge in the market and competitor landscape of the HFB: s that you are responsible for
Knowledge of the specific requirements of the Range and product development process & Market input process and experience of working with insights into customer needs, behaviors, life at home movements, trends, and styles in different markets. We also like you to have good project management skills.
