Job Description

As a communication specialist, you will secure and create overall communication plans for various projects within the Retail Operation Solutions & Support organisation. One of your primary responsibilities is the development and execution of a communication plan and materials to support our business transformation.

You will contribute to professional and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders such as other parts of the business or IKEA retailers. You will be responsible for the creation of communication materials such as presentations, videos, articles, newsletters for internal communication. In addition you play an important part in creating consistency in our communication through planning and coordinating meetings and conferences.

You will collaborate with team members by supporting and advising when it comes to internal communication. Organising, structuring and maintaining internal communication channels is seen as part of your day to day work. To enable better business through internal communication, you will work closely with communication leaders within Core Business Franchise and the Expansion leadership area.

Qualifications

We are looking for a positive team player who is passionate about creating value in an omnichannel environment. Ideally, you have  2 to 5 years of working experience in a digital environment as a communication specialist with a good understanding of digital products and services.

We believe that you are  someone who can build relationships, connect people and ideas, and hold things together even when they get complex or unclear.  You enjoy working in a high paced environment and you have a proven ability to bring structure to a difficult setting. You feel comfortable in making effective communication decisions.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are some of the given qualities you bring with you. You also possess a solid understanding of change communication, messaging, communication processes and tools. We trust  you are well acquainted with how to work across different channel landscape and that you have strong operational and execution focus.

Your curious nature helps you to actively acquire new knowledge and skills, using them to champion new methods and processes to improve how things are done and delivered. And you are passionate about enabling ‘a better everyday life’ through technology and digital innovation.

Additional Information

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden.  There may be some international travel required for this role. In the interim, you will report to the Sales & Range Processes Manager.
