The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products – and better homes. Our task is to take the responsibility for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. IKEA Components have also the assignment to provide After Sales service of components to the end customers. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based mainly in Sweden, Slovakia and China.

Job Description

Responsible for providing a proactive support to the respective IKEA Components business unit, with focus on safety, security and risk awareness.
 Responsible for implementation and assurance of all safety and security rules, requirements and regulations on legal as well as internal company level.
 Complete relevant reporting, including incident reporting. Conduct analysis of incident trends, reporting to line management and to matrix reporting line.
 Responsible for operation of the facility, such as contact towards service providers, equipment connected to the facility, id-cards, keys, etc.
 Responsible for legal contact with authorities and other internal and external services connected to the safety and security.
 Responsible for the introductions for new employees and external visitors; secure mandatory trainings such as code of conduct and security educations.
 Partner with co-workers to influence and support working environment from a safety and security point of view.
 Work with the EHS committee to achieve optimum compliance – Safety and security first.
 Securing regular safety & security audits within respective IKEA Components business unit.

Qualifications

A KNOWLEDGE
 Understanding of the IKEA business, culture and values
 Understanding of the business processes to constantly improve the business
 Knowledge of relevant Safety & Security processes, tools and working methods
 Knowledge of national/local legal demands

This position reports to the Finance & Business Navigation Manager in China and will be important team member in our Risk & Compliance Leader in Älmhult.
