Now we start the work to set up the technical services needed to support an IT landscape that will be developed and operated in a hybrid cloud model.

The technical services we deliver will enable the IT landscape to transform and take leverage on cloud computing services. We will contribute to IKEA direction by making it possible to create services that are affordable, accessible, and sustainable.

Data Distribution & Integration develop global services for data exchange both inside the IKEA franchisor IT landscape and to franchisee IT landscapes, enabling a structured exchange of data across the whole IKEA value chain.

You inspire, lead and develop the development team for application and integrations across different IT landscapes. You plan, lead and follow up IT Integration deliveries from the delivery team, from integrated solution design, development, test, deployment, and run-in production. You will manage capacity and forecasting for all parts of the team’s deliveries and engage with external and internal stakeholders to meet expectations with the right   competence at the right time.

Furthermore, you will lead the IT service management process across the domains including change management, prioritization, planning, operations, and support and:
•    Support formulation of relevant outcomes/Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) across teams and drive prioritization of the future portfolio of activities
•    Work closely with business stakeholders, IT and Data Architects and Key Account managers to plan and prioritize your deliveries.
•    Support the agile and scrum-based development to work across the landscape
 

To be successful and shine in this role you need to have an effective leadership skill with ability to influence without authority and deliver through virtual teams. Have a strong belief in the IKEA leadership approach and solid knowledge and experience in leading a software development team. 

Knowledge and experience in key aspects of IT software development, including integration across solutions and IT landscapes and experience in working in a DevOps and Agile Scrum approaches. Good to have knowledge in cloud computing services and micro service architecture and genuine interest in people and a strong ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders. You are also curious, eager to find better ways and committed to remove manual work whenever possible. 

A natural communicator (written & verbal skills in English) with strong experience in crafting relevant material for various organizational levels and preferably have technical development background and / or knowledge of data integration technologies.
