Data Distribution & Integration is responsible for all data exchange both inside the IKEA franchisor IT landscape and to franchisees IT landscapes, enabling a structured exchange of data across the whole IKEA value chain.

Job Description
As a Solution Architect for integrations inside and across different IT landscapes, your main responsibilities will include:
- Understand the fundamentals of various Data Integration technologies
- Develop the solution designs using various integration technologies in close collaboration with fellow solution architects and development team members
- Understand the architecture roadmap for the Data Distribution & Integration area, and its’ part of the overall roadmap for IKEA, by being an active member of the architecture community at Inter IKEA
- Provide hands on development if needed, but primarily lead development activities including supporting junior developers, do code review etc.
- Support projects and initiatives in defining data exchange needs
- Work closely with integration patterns and collaborate with IT Architects
- Organise data/information that will be exchanged in and between different IT landscapes including managing the data catalogue and defining data objects
- Support your colleagues in the DevOps team and deliver value-based development to overcome development issues in an agile/Scrum development environment
- Expert-level coaching and support for our various stakeholders and developers through all stages of the integration lifecycle with advice on solving complex challenges, technology transition, optimal usage of our integration technologies, and best practice
- Work with a range of stakeholders to seek, research and determine the most appropriate solutions to address business, performance, operational, and/or technology needs
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need to have knowledge and/or several years of experience in several of the following areas:
- Have 5-7 years of knowledge and experience of designing and developing solution architecture for integrations by analysing integration needs
- Solid knowledge and development experience in Integration technology platforms such as Kafka, API/ Microservices, ODI, cloud integrations, MFT, SOA, Java, CI/CD development, or similar is seen as an advantage
- Have knowledge about architectural frameworks and various integration design patterns
- Have working experience in and with software development teams
- Have solid knowledge and experience in key aspects of IT software development process, including integration across solutions and IT landscapes
- Have knowledge and experience in working in agile DevOps and Scrum approaches
- Strong team player with genuine interest in people and a strong ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Be able to perform on both tactical and operational level
- Be curious, eager to find better ways and committed to remove manual work whenever possible
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
