Job Description

We are looking for a solution specialist to this team. Are you up for a challenge in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous reality? 

About the role 

The solution specialist within the area of learning drives the solution operation in a global network, improving and amplifying the co-worker experience. These learning experiences happen in a knowledge-and-learning infrastructure that combines both physical and digital spaces. The solution specialist facilitates a cross collaborative network and secures the competence and communication flows in the network. The solution specialist leads and proposes development requests based on input from the network, and validates new features and user experience improvements. The solution specialist leads the development and implementation of common ways of working enabling great user experiences across the IKEA franchise system. The solution specialist contributes to the learning movement we are in by providing facts on usage, performance and business impact of the IKEA unique learning offer and its ecosystem. The solution specialist builds and maintains trustful relationships with stakeholders, business partners, franchisees and colleagues. The solution specialist has communication skills like active listening and the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, inspiring way, with down to earth simple tone of voice.

  • You have experience with developing global standards and ways of working, and implementing them 

  • You have experience within digital product management in complex business settings and making it simple for people and business 

  • You take ownership and are at ease in taking lead and decision making  

  • You work analytical, structured and accurate 

  • You are a problem solver, improve solutions and support people 

  • You pay attention to details and have a holistic mind 

  • You are familiar with agile ways of working 

Additional Information

You report to the IKEA People & Culture Solution Manager.  

This is a fixed term for approximately  a year, full-time position (40 hours per week), located in Delft, the Netherlands or Älmhult Sweden. Some travel may be required (after the COVID-19 restrictions and terms are clear).
