Job Description

Data & Analytics is a growing and reasonably new department with the ambition of securing access to data, competence and the right tools for all parts of the organization. We are working closely every day with the business and product teams that deliver cutting edge, data driven solutions to the many IKEA customers and co-workers.

As a Data Sharing Leader, you will support the organisation in leveraging information and data. This you will do in many ways; by translating business challenges to data and information opportunities, supporting teams in removing barriers hindering data sharing, by supporting data publishers and users in adopting sharing standards and guardrails and by communicating and building understanding of the data landscape across IKEA. You will actively and proactively help product and project teams understand what data they need to fulfil their purpose and help them seamlessly access the right data assets.

You will collaborate closely with other stakeholders and colleagues within Range and across different core businesses in Inter IKEA group.

You take your colleagues by the hand, and you constructively guide and support them in ensuring access and usage of business-critical data assets. You are regularly involved in activities and meetings with stakeholders to determine large and small opportunities where data sharing could help the organisation to better reach its goals and work in a more efficient way.

Supporting a complex organisation to realise the benefits that data sharing can bring is at the heart of the role.

You will:

  • Guide and facilitate data sharing within the wider Inter IKEA organisation
  • Lead the development and roll-out of data sharing practices across a complex organisation.
  • Be a central point of contact and escalation within the Inter IKEA data sharing community
  • Drive continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing of data sharing practices, tools and assets across Inter IKEA.
  • Ensure consistency by supporting the use of relevant development techniques, digital frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications

We are continuously on a journey to develop us as an organization by bringing in passionate people who embrace change, who dare to ask questions and want to make a difference. You are inspired and energised by the possibilities and opportunities that digital and information technology brings to enable, transform and break new grounds, always with IKEA best interest in mind. You also share our values striving always for simplicity and togetherness. If that sounds like you, come and join us in digitising the IKEA range offer and the IKEA Concept. Together we can do great things.

To be successful in this role, we believe you are a strong team player who can naturally and effectively communicate, collaborate, network and build relationships across a complex organisation. You should also be able to make the benefits of effective data sharing, understood and embraced by both technical and non-technical co-workers. Beyond that you are comfortable balancing several stakeholders and agendas simultaneously, then this is the role for you.
