Job Description

As Business Navigation Manager you will play a central role in steering the business towards growth and goal achievements, driving the business performance agenda, focussing on navigation and analytics of communication development. Your role is to identify business potentials and enable innovation to secure effectiveness and efficiency within given frames. 

You lead and develop the functional team, and together with your team, you work closely with the business managers and teams to develop analytical methods, reports and tools to spot business opportunities, early warnings and risks and enable navigation towards commonly agreed business goals.  You thrive on change, using it as opportunity to grow yourself and your team.

You are part of the Business Navigation & Finance team and report to the Business Navigation & Finance Manager for IMC.

Further, in your role you will be responsible for leading and developing the Business Navigation function at IMC. You play a key role in setting performance criteria and provide navigation support to achieve and follow up results and goals. Lead with fact-based decision making, based on a holistic business view with the entire IKEA value chain in mind.

Support business development by providing analysis, reports, tools and relevant business insights, in order to identify and act on potentials for business improvements and ensure that budget and forecast is aligned, accurate and reliable, meeting business needs, with agreed business objectives.

You will also strengthen business steering/navigation and analytics capabilities by providing team leadership and actively engage and build trustful relationships with business partners across the Inter IKEA Core Businesses.

For you to be successful in the job as Business Navigation Manager, we think it is important that you are action-oriented and result driven, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are future-oriented, having a strong ability to adapt to and lead others through change. You can translate long-term priorities into clearly defined business objectives and get the job done together with others, while keeping the bigger picture in mind. 

You are also curious and open minded with excellent analytical skills combined with strong strategic business understanding and you are great in building partnerships based on trust, collaboration and support across business areas/functions and it’s clear that you live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and living IKEA culture.

Furthermore, we wish: 

•    You have a proven track record in meeting/exceeding results in a business leadership role
•    You have excellent leadership skills, being a down-to earth leader providing clarity with a positive, inspiring approach and leading through others with the aim to let them shine in their roles and assignments
•    You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can simplify complex matters and can inspire others to see opportunities and as English is our corporate language, the ability to express yourself in English is a prerequisite, both in written and verbal
•    A solid background and knowledge in Business Navigation from working in a business and/or a financial role is preferred
•    A university degree in business administration or similar
