Job Description
The core of your role will be to develop business and people together in the context of our learning offer, customer facing planning tools and being the direct manager to the team of specialists. We want to create new ways of reaching out to and interact with retail partners and the co-workers out on the shop floor by introducing new communication platforms to transfer knowledge.
You will be main speaking partner to stakeholders like IPEX and CBF setting the tactical and strategical agenda for KBA. You will be responsible to lead the work to identify short- and long-term implications on co-worker knowledge for co-workers facing the customer or working with customer facing communication whether in digital or physical touch points.
We want you to lead the development and maintenance of learning solutions designed to increase knowledge in the range and you must secure availability of the learning solutions in the different learning portfolios and on relevant digital platforms.
You will also lead the work to create or brief the learning solution development according to given scope in agreed time and cost meeting the business needs. To lead the review process of existing learning solutions and working in close collaboration with the content owners to ensure that content is relevant and up to date.
Qualifications
We think you are a star, and to shine in this role you must have high knowledge in the IKEA Vision, Concept, Business Idea, IKEA Culture and Values. Good understanding of the IKEA business model, IKEA ways of working, business plan process and strategic landscape. You also need good knowledge in the HFB Business plan, goals and objectives and knowledge of the requirements of the IKEA retail system including the barriers to easy selling for the specific assigned range.
Furthermore, we wish that you have:
• Good knowledge in the HFB Business plan, goals and objectives.
• Good systemic awareness with the ability to see the whole picture, building relationships and interacting with relevant parts in the IKEA network.
• Good ability to lead through others, embracing thriftiness, simplicity, common sense and, above all, a “get-it-done” attitude
• good ability to lead in the unknown, in a fastchanging environment being open to doing things differently
• Ability to combine working on a strategic level with acting on an operation/tactical level
You have high understanding of knowledge and access to product related information. A sales co-worker in retail requires to sell the offer and meet the customer in a successful way. Capability to analyze, bring data, information and knowledge to draw conclusions - understanding and transform it into insights and actions and capability to think in terms of profit, loss and added value.
We also think that you have good leadership capabilities with the ability to nurture enthusiasm, willpower and co-creation growing the IKEA spirit and good systemic awareness with the ability to see the whole picture, building relationships and interacting with relevant parts in the IKEA network.
You can lead through others, embracing thriftiness, simplicity, common sense and, above all, a “get-it-done” attitude and you like to lead in the unknown, in a fast- changing environment being open to doing things differently. You are motivated by the IKEA vision, Business Idea and values and motivated by developing an offer that exceeds customers’ expectations and reaches more of the many in existing and new markets.
