About you

We believe that you are very interested in leading and developing people and that you have excellent understanding of financial systems and processes. You have a Master degree in Finance or Accounting and several years of equivalent working experience.
In addition, we believe that you, as our preferred candidate, will bring a combination of the following experience, knowledge, capabilities, and motivation:

• Have excellent leadership skills to lead and make people grow
• Have a strong business understanding and excellent understanding of financial systems and processes
• Be curious and open to new ways of working and strive to improve processes
• Capability to analyse, draw conclusions and act on them with a holistic business understanding.
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening and the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, engaging way, with down to earth simple tone of voice.
• Capability to lead and work with a longer term strategic agenda and shorter term operational/tactical topics.

But don’t worry! You will not be alone. In this role you will work closely with your colleagues in the finance team many others in the organisation.

About the role

Within this role you will lead the accounting processes for the legal entities that are part of Core Business Franchise. You will lead an international team with bases in both Delft and Malmo, Sweden.

As the IT landscape is currently under review you will be an important contributor to our future ways of working and will navigate with the team through these changes.

As IKEA is continuously changing to adept to the business needs also the scope of the role is continuously adjusting to the new organization.
