We are looking for a Product Deviation Leader – better described as a Chaos-pilot that help us navigate in the product deviation landscape!
We have several processes within IKEA resolving deviations related to safety and compliance in product range (home furnishing and food) and in other words, we are looking for a Product Deviation Leader to join the Product Safety and Compliance deviations team to lead and coordinate the work in managing and resolving deviations and related actions; so that the defined objective and scope is delivered on time.

Job Description
As our new team member, we would like you to be equally dedicated to the above in order to maintaining the good team spirit and securing our deliveries. We are a happy and energetic team that tries to celebrate even the smallest victory and any opportunity to laugh is a good one.
The overall assignment is to, within the Safety and Compliance alarm process, eliminate product non-compliance and mitigate product safety risks for our customers.
You will lead, and coordinate activities connected to potential high business impact on the IKEA brand, product safety and compliance deviations, according to the defined process. Ensure proper documentation and sharing of knowledge and learnings within organization. Evaluate incoming deviation reports for safety & compliance. Urgent stand-by support (On-Duty) connected to the high impact product deviations, when applicable.
You will also secure preparations, facilitations, and decisions and follow up for high-level decision-making councils within IKEA and ensure that identified risks are escalated to correct stakeholders. You will contribute to development of Ways of Working, trainings and tools of the product deviation process.
To coach and/or mentor investigation team members and peers to develop competence within the product deviation process and handling of deviations.
Contribute to special assignments within the product risk and compliance deviation area.
Qualifications
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
What we would appreciate the most is the way you interact with people. However, it would be beneficial if you can proof that you have strong knowledge about product safety and compliance for consumer goods, including food and risks associated with the same.
Strong knowledge of project management methods and tools would also be an advantage when you apply for the position as well as Project Management skills. Fluent in English, written and spoken is a must.
