We are currently looking for a People & Culture generalist to join us!

You will work operationally with a wide range of People & Culture assignments, covering all aspects of the employee life cycle – from recruitment to exit. You will support and coach managers and co-workers regarding HR-policies, recruitment, introduction, salary reviews, competence development and more. You will secure operational excellence in implementing and maintaining People & Culture processes, working methods and legal requirements in your defined part of the business. You will also be a part of the implementation of a new digital People & HR solution – Workday. In IKEA our culture & values are at the core of everything we do, and one of your responsibilities is being a cultural role model demonstrating the IKEA values and influencing people around you.

This role is offering an exciting and inspiring workplace in a global environment. You will be part of the People Experience team, which consists of Generalists, Administrators, Specialists and Recruiters and you report to the Team Manager for People & Culture Generalists.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who together with us want to bring people and business together and ensure that we are an excellent place to work and develop. You work independently and are motivated in finding new ways, as well as collaborating in a team environment with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the organization.  

You have some years of experience within HR or relevant field, preferably from a complex, international organisation. You are used to providing an organisation with HR expertise in a variety of topics such as labour law, work environment and compensation. You have experience from and feel comfortable in facilitating discussions, meetings and workshops with co-workers and managers, and you are fluent in both spoken and written English. It´s a great advantage if you have experience from working with the People & HR solution Workday.

You demonstrate reliability, honesty, and integrity in interpersonal relations, and you establish trust and effective working relationships. You have strong communication skills, and you share your knowledge as well as being curious and eager to learn more. You are structured and organised and you make things happen.
