The IKEA product range is designed to be functional, look great, be affordable, of qood quality and to be sustainable. This is what we call democratic design. You see, keeping track of, assessing, and maintaining product requirements for a global company, like IKEA, is not for the faint hearted. It is challenging and rewarding and means you will be working with many different groups of people, like IKEA product development teams, local regulation agencies and test facilities. But, if you are experienced in working with different aspects from a standardisation, development or architectural point of view, this is a piece of cake for you.

In addition, we’d like to see you are not afraid to show your face (on screen or off screen) and be heard, as in this role you will lead trainings and information distribution of electrical product requirements to the entire IKEA product development organization. A network of 100 (and more) colleagues, all waiting for you to translate complex regulations into simple common language, so they can develop products that comply. Now, that is what we call team work!
