As a financial controller in my team, you will be developing the company and company efficiency to reach excellence within Finance, Business Navigation & Credit Management.

A few jobs specific key tasks and responsibilities could be that you are responsible for legal & operational financial reporting. Secure that the company has access to all needed competence within finance and navigation area. Secure compliance with accounting and tax laws and legal rules and standards and secure compliance with IKEA financial policies & procedures and internal work instructions.

You will also develop and implement the functional plan for Finance and Business Navigation and lead the budget/forecast process. By steering business through the strategic landscape, taking lead in fact-based decision-making and supporting with tools, insights, and recommendations, we enable goal achievements and customer satisfaction. Secure legal compliance to laws, standards, and policies within Finance. Enable efficiency and develop new ways of working.

To be successful we think that you need to have good knowledge of Inter IKEA strategic landscape. You have very good financial knowledge (university degree in economic or corresponding knowledge) and strong accounting, reporting, tax and treasury knowledge and understanding of business operation. Understanding of the IKEA business model, strategic landscape, and IKEA Ways of working and Finance and legal compliance.

You are highly motivated to lead and develop people and to living the Inter IKEA values. Good understanding of the IKEA businesses. High energy to develop the business and deliver result. You are curious to find more effective ways of working and passionate about using knowledge to drive the business development and optimize performance.

You have previous experience and a proven track record in meeting/exceeding results in a financial and/or business leadership role. You preferably also have experience in working on a strategic level, and the ability to translate long-term priorities into clearly defined business objectives. You have strong analytical skills and fact-based business leadership capabilities support making the right decisions and their implementations.

Minimum 3 years of experience within the area of Business Navigation and finance.
