We are looking for the next Marketing and Communication Strategy and plan manager, a person who will start alongside with the current Strategy & plan manager with the ambition to step into the role within 6-12 months.

IKEA Marketing & Communication AB works with all marketing and communication functions across IKEA network to grow and position IKEA through one unique brand. IKEA Marketing & Communication AB. IMC defines, develops and makes common communication content and marketing and communication solutions (digital tolls and capabilities as examples).  The Strategy & Plan team translates business and IKEA concepts into strategy, directions, guidelines, and enablers to meet people and consumers the way they want. You play a key role in the IKEA network to agree on the global communication plan as an integrated part of IKEA business plan as well as the overall planning for Marketing & Communication deliverables to impactfully meet consumers.

This role requires high skills of coaching and leadership leading the strategy and plan agenda together with team as well as leading across IKEA networks in close collaboration with retailers as a prerequisite for relevant content. It also requires deep skills within the marketing field that we are eager to enrich ourselves with!
In this role, we believe that you will:

  • Define, develop and lead the overall strategy and plan to enable world class marketing and communication
  • Be responsible to develop and govern the IKEA common communication plan as an integrated part of the IKEA Business plan
  • Be responsible in defining, planning and establishing the marketing and communication priorities built on close collaboration with the IKEA eco system
  • Be responsible to run cross organisational initiatives as well as putting the pre-conditions for execution in place
  • Contribute to the overall framework agreements within IKEA Network in relation to Marketing & Communication
  • Inspire for long-term changes and tangible deliverables.

You are used to lead the way and known for your inclusive and excellent leadership working in a true team spirit.
