You will be leading IKEA Components global customs team and agenda, on tactical/strategical to operational level. You contribute to availability at lower total costs through always ensuring compliance in trade, with applicable customs related legislations & standards efficiently, managing customs issues and working with customs classification of our range.

You will develop direction and tactical plans to ensure customs department development from people, business & solution aspects towards our wished position. Lead IKEA Components global customs matrix to ensure common direction and development and deliver agreed goals to secure a high performing organization. 

You have appropriate training within the area of customs and trade. As a person you are persistent and are motivated by and put pride in securing that all information is correctly handled in a good way. You know how to create a good understanding about customs requirements of products in a communicative way.

As a leader you have a strong drive and problem-solving approach, ability to handle both small and big issues. You are development oriented and open to new ways of working. You are also highly motivated to lead and develop business and people. You have the energy in working on strategic, tactical and operational level.

You must be well familiar with international customs and foreign trade regulations, requirements and connected legislations (procedures, regulations, valuation, preference programs/free trade agreements, classification and origin etc.) 

You have several years of experience in customs related roles in an international environment and by that having gained good understanding of customs requirements and connected legislations on strategical and operational level.
