The Global Quality team is part of IKEA Supply and is responsible for creating and maintaining standards and ways of working within IKEA Supply and for verifying compliance against requirements and standards. The role of IKEA Supply is to supply the IKEA range at the lowest total cost, fully compliant and ensuring that the range is produced under good social and environmental conditions.

Job Description

As Product Compliance Manager in the Global Quality team, you will play a key role in leading and developing the competence and capabilities of your direct team and Quality Compliance Specialist matrix in order to support the business teams and suppliers. You ensure the highest levels of compliance for the IKEA range. You will report to the Global Quality Compliance Manager Chris Bird. 

You are also responsible to lead the work to perform annual Product Requirement Reviews and you measure and report fulfilment of this to key stakeholders.

You will also:

  • Be in the lead to secure competence around product requirements in IKEA Supply
  • Set common priorities in the Yearly Action plans for the business related to Product requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of IKEA Product Requirements
  • Be the Business owner of the Purchasing Compliance tools (e.g., Connect, Product Requirement Review Tool)
  • Develop and maintain the IKEA purchasing Manual working methods and working instructions related to quality compliance.
