About You
You see innovation starting with evolutionary development going all the way to disruptive explorative innovations. And to do so you need to be well anchored in IKEAs integrated value chain and be able to work across teams, organisations, companies and countries!

People describe you as a visionary, pragmatic and adaptable leader with strong willpower and little prestige. You are curious and able to build relationships and cooperate with people in different units, hierarchies and cultures and communicate in a straightforward and open way. Furthermore you have the ability to prioritise, take decisions and delegate whenever needed. To do this it will help you to have a solid understanding of IKEA business processes, the IKEA franchise setup, the IKEA Concept, value chain  and a good understanding of Information Technology and relevant production models.

You have excellent knowledge and experience in leading all levels of innovation and all stages of innovation (from ideation to deployment). You possess great knowledge and interest in new technologies and digital solutions. You bring with you strong ability to lead and facilitate creative and innovative processes in cross functional organisations and areas. You have capability to navigate and lead business and people in a complex, ambiguous and fast-changing business and technology environment. You have the interest and ability to work on both strategic as well as tactical and operational level.

As Innovation Manager you will facilitate a strong mind-set of innovation to create a unique advantage for IKEA both now and in the future.

In this role the main focus lies on supporting the needs of IKEA companies, where solutions shall support customers, customers or the business setup for both us and the IKEA franchisees. You will work in close collaboration together with many partners in the IKEA ecosystem and where the aim is to deliver to the IKEA Direction, the IKEA Franchise priorities and the (digital) franchise offer, all based on our IKEA Culture and Values.

In the role as Innovation Manager you will inherit a small but fantastic team as well as build new teams for cross-organisational projects and initiatives. Together with the innovation network colleagues, you will develop the innovation framework, partner up with other innovations in IKEA, and enable co-creation and co-worker engagement into the innovation ideation process. You will secure a digital infusion into our innovation portfolios and utilization of digital enablers in the IKEA Franchise innovation agenda.
