Job Description

In the project “Market Hall Picking Solutions” we will explore innovative ways of improving the picking process in our market halls and as our Customer Fulfilment Specialist you will be a key contributor in this project. In this project you will:

  • Act as a content expert for IKEA Customer Fulfilment operations collaborating with different IKEA markets, gathering data and making an analysis of the situations in the customer meeting points.
  • Identify and collect relevant trends, insights and learnings for the project.
  • Ideate new solutions that enable Market hall’s fulfillment process to be efficient.

Qualifications

First of all you have a “can do” attitude and make things happen! And it goes without saying that you lead through the IKEA culture and values. We also believe that you bring recent Customer and Store Fulfilment experience, working in an omni-channel environment in different Customer Meeting Points and that you have both broad and in-depth experience from goods flow and customer flow processes. For this role it is a prerequisite that you have worked in different retail markets and have experience from leading people directly or indirectly in global projects.

Furthermore we see that you have;

  • Good understanding of how global trends and developments can impact IKEA (main areas: retail, consumer behaviour, digital technology, economy, sustainability, life at home, design, media and communication).

  • Ability to build trustful and sustainable relationships with stakeholders, business partners and franchisees.

  • Capability to build a knowledge sharing network to enable constant learning in the total IKEA system and experience in leading assignments through modern processes and methodologies.

  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.

So if  you have a personality who thrives in an environment in which most things are under development;  you have the ability to look at things in a new way and the drive to test and improve our ways of working across IKEA; you get energy from working together with people from IKEA’s entire value chain and create sustainable relationships; then don’t hesitate to apply today!
