IKEA Development Centre (DevC) South Asia is looking for PROJECT LEADER- PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Located in Delhi, Development Centre South Asia is affiliated to IKEA of Sweden, and takes the responsibility to lead product development capabilities close to people and partners in strategic locations to deliver IKEA product range with simplicity, speed and low cost. By leveraging the strengths of our partners in these regions and the closeness to consumers on the market through co-creation, we can ensure a relevant product range on IKEA markets through Democratic Design, IKEA identity and uniqueness.                                                       

We are a development unit focusing on product development and communication in lean and efficient ways. We are now we are looking for more members of the team, maybe you are one of them?

We are looking for someone with passion and capability to:

•Create and drive business growth through projects and products with low prices for the many people

•Lead business through people with value based leadership, Leading team to take decisions and move forward in the creative process together balancing all relevant input for optimal Democratic Design and to strengthen the IKEA identity

•Lead and work on both tactical and operational levels, being in hands on and love to being close to reality, developing our products at supply and store floors together with our many partners. Find better ways and getting tings things done

•Customer in mind, co-creating with consumers and developing in the home and on the factory floor and customer meeting points

•Learn new things, testing new tools and ways of working with open-mind set.

•Capability to work and deliver many projects simultaneously under time constrains.

•Act as Sourcing specialist for the project based assignment

•Sustainability and Circularity knowledge is a plus, passionate to create products that are good for the nature and our world

•Transfer knowledge about customer insight into products, Market Intelligence capability is plus
