About the assignment

  • As a Product Design Engineer: Sustainable Nutrition & Health Specialist is to lead the sustainable nutrition & health product design development.
  • Execute the sustainable nutrition & health activities within News, Improves or Operational Maintenance activities.
  • The Product Design Engineer is part of the Product Quality team at Business Area Food and reports to the Product Quality Manager.

Job Description

  • Identify the need for and outline sustainable nutrition and health concepts and solutions within a scoped project
  • Plan detailed sustainable nutrition and health activities in a project
  • Deliver sustainable nutrition and health activities to agreed plans
  • Secure performance of a product regarding all sustainable nutrition and health aspects before execution
  • Verify the final sustainable nutrition and health solution based on customer needs and technical requirements
  • Deploy the latest sustainable nutrition and health developments connected to industry and categories
  • Execute sustainable nutrition and health activities end to end independent
  • Sustainable nutrition and health resources in larger product development activities

Lead

  • Sustainable nutrition and health resources in larger product development activities
  • Understanding of sustainable nutrition and health scope
  • Speed and effectiveness in sustainable nutrition and health execution
  • Sustainable nutrition and health operational activities to secure a sellable range
  • Contribution to a knowledge-based development by communicating learnings from project execution

Qualifications

We are looking for a person with work experience from produce development within the Food industry and business.

  • University degree in nutrition and health and relevant working experience.
  • Product nutrition and health knowledge through experience in nutrition assessment and nutrient profiling
  • Knowledge and interest in sustainable food systems set up
  • Hands on execution of Product Engineering activities
  • Translate a well-defined scope into technical product solutions
  • Ability to scope & plan detailed development tasks
  • Passion for enabling healthy and sustainable life for the many people
  • A strong will to influence and make a difference
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
