At IKEA of Sweden (Core Business Range) we are responsible to develop and supply the IKEA product range offer. This is done in the different Home Furnishing Businesses where the Sales team is responsible to secure the preconditions for the IKEA retailers to create a great meeting with the customers. The Sales Collaboration Specialist sits in unit Sales at IKEA of Sweden, where we work to support the Home Furnishing Businesses with great tools, processes and knowledge to ensure efficient and effective ways of working, aiming to ensure that the customers successfully meet the IKEA range offer in all our touchpoints all over the world.

In the Sales Collaboration team we lead three areas of expertise; Pricing, Range Classification and Sales Planning and Activation. By working together, we contribute to secure that the IKEA products customers want to have, are available for them to buy at an affordable price.

Job Description

Lots of exciting thing are happening in the area of Sales Collaboration. We are developing the method in Value Based Pricing, we are rolling out a new Sales Planning collaboration tool and we are looking into the future of Range Classification, therefore are we now looking for Sales Collaboration specialists to our areas of expertise;

In Pricing, we are responsible for developing and maintaining the process around setting Recommended sales prices towards our IKEA retailers. We have been developing the method of Value Based Pricing and we now see the need to develop the supporting tool for it.

In Range Classification, we are responsible to develop and maintain the method and process on how to collaborate and classifying our IKEA range, meaning deciding on what range is sold in which market. In the role as Sales Collaboration Specialist you are really part of forming the future for IKEA and market relevance.

In Sales planning, we work in close collaboration with stakeholders across IKEA to ensure efficient ways of working that enable accurate planning of sales goals and sales actions that will drive visitation to all our current and future touch points around the world and in turn drive growth and long term profitability for IKEA. This is done in close collaboration between the Home Furnishing Businesses in IKEA of Sweden along with our 50+ Retail countries around the world. 

Qualifications

  • You are motivated to set measurable goals and to deliver result with a holistic view, leading people and business together creating a great co-worker experience.
  • You are passionate about Sales and have experience of working with or close to one or more of the areas; Pricing, Range Classification and/or Sales Planning and Activation.
  • You have good leadership capabilities with the ability to nurture enthusiasm, willpower and co-creation growing the IKEA spirit. You are a good communicator with the ability to inspire others and express yourself clearly.
  • You have good ability to lead through others, embracing thriftiness, simplicity, common sense and, above all, a “get-it-done” attitude.
  • You love the unknown, navigating in a fast-changing environment being open to doing things differently. You have the ability to combine working on a strategic level with acting on an operation/tactical level and enjoy details.

It is a merit if you understand IKEA and how it is all joined up, building relationships and interacting with relevant parts in the IKEA network.

In the role as Sales Collaboration Specialist you will report to the Sales Collaboration Manager in Sales, IKEA of Sweden.
