Job Description

We are now looking for a Product Design Engineer to aid us in the Stability 2.0 project. In this project we are a team of approximately 20 people, developing strategical solutions that in short term will improve the safety of our bedroom products, and in long term will be available for use in other business areas as well. This is project with focus on both the technical, as well as the communication, aspects of risks and safety in our product development.

This Product Design Engineer role is tailored for the Stability 2.0 project, being highly involved in the conceptual phase. You will lead the technical development in the product development process to secure creative, production adapted solutions to exceed customer expectations. You will lead several simultaneous development projects of varying complexity, securing the right competence and resources from a technical perspective. The Product Design Engineer is responsible overall for leading and making sure the technical development projects are carried through and delivered in time.

Qualifications

To be able to do this, you need well documented project management skills within product development, leading several projects at once.

In order to achieve smooth collaboration between team members, as well as stakeholders on many different levels, the position demands strong communication skills. 

You have a technical background, most likely as an engineer, and possesses deep technical knowledge within your area. You are used to work with simulations in 3D-environments.

You have an analytical mindset and a will to gather information in order to take informed strategical decisions with great impact.

You find motivation in working with product development within furnishing, have an entrepreneurial drive and thrive in collaboration with others.

This is a role with great impact. Your work influence every stage of the product development, from idea to seeing the product in our stores. You work together with vast variety of people, involved in not only the product development, but also the business side.
